Notes from Mike Schrum

"Wow, what an incredible first conference meet of the season! Although it was not ideal weather conditions, we have competed in worse weather and Mother Nature threw some adversity training at the students right out of the gate yesterday! Adversity training we will never shy from, and the students proved that on Saturday.

The Crawford County Shooting Sports team graduated a respectable number of Seniors last year, so it was exciting to watch the first meet unfold to see who steps up to fill those newly vacated roles. Although it's still a little soon to tell, we witnessed several team members step up to the plate on Saturday to show their desire. The season is young however, so we will have to see how the next couple meets unfold before truly knowing for certain."
