KWSR to Host “Witstock” Music Festival April 30 at Western Iowa Tech

This April KWSR, Western Iowa Tech Community College student radio, is hosting the
Witstock Music Festival on April 30 from 6:00 – 10:00 pm at Western Iowa Tech
Community College Parking Lot 1.

Witstock is a family-friendly event and open to the public. The music line-up features
Gee Q Vee, Kenny K and the Dead Cowboys, and headliner Fair to Compare. The
bands cover various genres of music, like hip hop, country, and rock. Western Iowa Tech
Community College Mass Communications student, Luke Larson, will serve as Master
of Ceremonies.

This year’s event is hosted by KWSR, Western Iowa Tech Community College’s student
radio station, in conjunction with the Mass Communications program and Student
Activities. Video and Audio engineering students are responsible for all technical
aspects and production of the show, and Student Activities are providing the food and
activities.
