One Dead, Two Critically Injured in Crash Near Halbur
A fatal crash occurred late Monday night northeast of Halbur, claiming one life and leaving two others critically injured. Emergency crews responded around 10:30 p.m. to the intersection of 220th Street and Hawthorne Avenue, where a serious motor vehicle accident had been reported.
Authorities confirmed that one individual was pronounced dead at the scene. Two others sustained critical injuries, and one of them was transported by air ambulance for further medical treatment.
Emergency personnel from several local fire departments, the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office, Carroll County EMS, and the Carroll County Communications Center were involved in the response.
