Hydrant Flushing Underway in Sac City Through Friday
Sac City officials are reminding residents that hydrant flushing is taking place this week and is expected to be completed by Friday. This routine maintenance involves pushing water through the lines at a high velocity to clear out mineral buildup and ensure that hydrants are working properly with adequate flow rates.
During the flushing process, residents in affected areas may notice a temporary drop in water pressure. However, service will return to normal shortly after flushing is completed in each area.
