Community Input Needed as Chamber Considers Return of 4th of July Parade in Denison
DENISON — The Chamber & Development Council of Crawford County is seeking public input as it considers bringing back the beloved 4th of July Parade in Uptown Denison this summer.
The parade, tentatively scheduled for July 3rd, has been absent in recent years due to dwindling participation, particularly among parade entries. Now, the Chamber is exploring the possibility of reviving the tradition but wants to hear from the community before making a final decision.
"Would you attend? Would your business or group participate? Would a different time be better?" the Chamber asked in a recent statement. "Your feedback is crucial in helping us determine whether this community event is something people still want and are willing to support."
Residents and local organizations are encouraged to take a brief online survey, which takes less than two minutes to complete. The results will help guide the Chamber’s planning efforts.
