Denison FFA Members Shine at 97th Iowa FFA State Convention

AMES, Iowa — The Denison FFA Chapter proudly represented their school and community at the 97th Iowa FFA State Convention held this week in Ames.
Ali and Marley brought energy and entertainment to the event with a tap dance duet in the state talent show. Meanwhile, the chapter earned an impressive second place in the Southwest District in the FFA Ambassador Program, receiving a Platinum rating for their efforts in promoting FFA and agricultural education.
In the Greenhand Test competition, Shelby earned a Silver rating, while Addison took home Bronze, showcasing their knowledge of FFA and agriculture.
The team of Brady, Jaxson, and James competed in the Ag Marketing Contest, putting their communication and business skills to the test against teams from across the state.
A highlight of the week was Kysa receiving her Iowa Degree, one of the highest honors an FFA member can achieve, recognizing her dedication and accomplishments in FFA and supervised agricultural experiences.
Rounding out the group, Haley and Alex served as chapter delegates, participating in the democratic process by voting on the new slate of state FFA officers.
The convention provided Denison FFA members with opportunities to compete, lead, and grow — and they made their mark at every step.
