Cobblestone Inn & Suites in Denison Receives Generous Support for Mattress Donation to Veterans Moving Forward

Denison, IA – The Cobblestone Inn & Suites in Denison recently completed a significant charitable effort, with the help of a dedicated group of community volunteers, to support Veterans Moving Forward. On the morning of the event, 61 brand-new mattresses were moved into the hotel, while older mattresses were removed and prepared for storage for the nonprofit organization.
A heartfelt thank you was extended to Troy Gehlson, Boy Scouts Troop 55, Denison Monarch Football players, and several other volunteers including Matt Thompson, Denny DeMey, Andy Heikins, Nevaeh Brandt, Amy DeMey, Rob Krueger, and all the staff at Cobblestone Oakridge. Their teamwork and hard work ensured the task was completed efficiently and seamlessly.
The mattresses are being donated to Veterans Moving Forward, an organization that provides service dogs and other essential support to veterans in need. The event not only highlighted the generosity of the local community but also underscored the Cobblestone Inn & Suites' commitment to supporting veterans and their families.
