Exhaust Fire at Family Table Restaurant Causes Minor Damage, No Injuries Reported
An exhaust fire broke out at the Family Table Restaurant on Tuesday evening, but fortunately, no injuries were reported and the damage was minimal. The Carroll Fire Department responded to the scene at approximately 5:34 p.m., arriving to find smoke and flames pouring from the roof.
All customers and staff were able to evacuate the building safely. One staff member described hearing a loud noise before seeing thick smoke fill the entire kitchen.
Fire Chief Dan Hannasch explained that once the fire had subsided, crews proceeded to the roof to confirm the fire was fully extinguished.
