Manning Launches Text Notification System for Residents

MANNING, IA – The City of Manning has introduced a new text notification system, Text My Gov, designed to keep residents informed and connected. Through this service, Manning area residents—or anyone wanting to stay updated—can receive notifications about events, newsletters, road closures, and outages, along with optional alerts from specific interest groups.

Signing up is simple: Residents can text “Hi” to 712-634-6777 to start using the system for reporting issues or finding city information. To receive general notifications, users can opt-in at www.manningia.com/text.

“This is a great way for our community to stay informed without downloading an app,” a city representative said. “Whether it’s an emergency update or a fun local event, Manning residents will have important information at their fingertips.”

For more details, visit textmygov.com, or contact Manning City Hall at 712-655-2176. Standard message and data rates apply, and users can opt-out anytime by texting “STOP” to 91896.
