Kansas Man Wanted in Cari Allen Disappearance Arrested in Belize

The Douglas County Sheriff's Office confirmed that a Kansas man wanted in connection to the disappearance of 43-year-old Cari Allen was arrested in Central America.
Allen is originally Cari Kesterson and a 1997 graduate of Denison High. Authorities say 47-year-old Aldrick Scott of Topeka was apprehended in Belize on Tuesday and is awaiting extradition to the United States. Scott is wanted for kidnapping and accessory to a felony, according to the arrest warrant issued in Douglas County Court last month.
The sheriff's office is still searching for Allen who was last seen Saturday, Nov. 19, near her west Omaha home. They say that anyone with information is urged to contact their tip line at 402-444-6000.
