Denison Parks & Recreation Announces Temporary Closure of Northside Rec Fields Due to Wet Conditions
In response to recent rainfall and the forecasted moisture, Denison Parks and Recreation has issued a temporary closure of all Northside Recreation fields. The closure is effective for this week as the fields are too wet to ensure safe and playable conditions. The department plans to reopen the fields on Monday, March 31, 2025, once they have dried and are deemed safe for use.
Additionally, the Southeast fields will remain closed throughout the spring and summer seasons, while the Northeast Rock Track field will be available for use once it has sufficiently dried out.
