Manning to Build New Little League Field with Support from Rotary Club

Manning to Build New Little League Field with Support from Rotary Club

The City of Manning is planning to build an additional Little League field to accommodate the growing number of children participating in the program. With over 240 kids already signed up for this summer's Little League, city crews are set to construct one more field this year, with the possibility of expanding further in the future. Public Works Operations Manager Justin Mundt expressed his enthusiasm about the project, which aims to support the area's youth sports.

The Manning Rotary Club has generously pledged $15,000 to contribute to the cost of the new field, which will cover nearly the entire expense.

For those interested in supporting the project, donations can be made through City Hall by calling 712-655-2176. Mundt is excited about the opportunity to enhance local youth sports in Manning.

The Little League Season in Manning is set to begin in May and will run through July. For more information about youth recreation programs, contact Cory Arp at 712-655-3861
