Odebolt Crews Continue Work on Water Leak, Road Closure in Place

(ODEBOLT, IA) The City of Odebolt maintenance crew, along with other workers, are still working to locate and repair a persistent water leak affecting parts of the community. While rogue water has been discovered underground, the exact source of the issue remains unidentified.
Due to the nature of water movemen following the path of least resistance crews are digging backward from a designated point in hopes of pinpointing the origin of the leak.
As a result, the area around 2nd and Main Street remains closed, and residents in the affected zone may experience low to no water pressure.
City officials are urging residents to avoid the area and to spread the word to friends and neighbors about the ongoing situation.
