Harrison County Sustained Tornado Damages Last Wednesday

A tornado touched down in rural Harrison County last Wednesday, July 12th. The National Weather Service said it was an EF-2 tornado and reported the peak winds around 120 miles per hour as it moved along a 50-to-100-yard wide path. One house took direct impact from the storm. The roof was ripped off and the house sustained heavy damage. No injuries or deaths were reported, but damages included the house, uprooted trees, and some grain bins dented and pulled off their foundation.
