Iowa State takes momentum into spring drills
Iowa State offensive coordinator Taylor Mouser says the success of last season has raised the expectations of the Cyclone football team. ISU is coming off its first ever 11-win season that concluded with a win over Miami in the Pop Tarts Bowl. Spring Practice opened this week. Mouser says they are also motivated by failure. The Cyclones lost to Arizona State in the Big 12 Championship game. Mouser says the Cyclones are motivated to get back to the conference title game. Senior tight end Tyler Moore says last season has provided the program with momentum. Moore says that with several key players gone from that team, a new group of leaders has emerged.
