Pomeroy Man Pleads Guilty To Subsequent Offense For Selling Over 28 Grams Of Methamphetamine In Carroll

(Carroll Broadcasting) A Pomeroy man has pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance, subsequent offense, for delivering an ounce of methamphetamine to Carroll. According to Carroll County District Court records, 59-year-old Robert Thomas Lenz sold 28.12 grams of a crystalline substance that was confirmed to be methamphetamine in the 2000 block of Kittyhawk Road in Carroll back in Nov. 2024. Lenz has pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, third or subsequent offense, a class D felony, as a habitual offender. Lenz has previously been convicted of felonies for forgery, fraudulent practice, and theft. A sentencing hearing has been scheduled for March 10 at the Carroll County Courthouse. Lenz can face up to 15 years in prison, with a three-year mandatory sentence with the habitual offender enhancement.
