Lucas Building Evacuated in Des Moines
DES MOINES, Iowa — (KCCI) An evacuation is underway at the Lucas State Office Building in Des Moines.
The Iowa Secretary of State's Office, which is housed in the building, confirmed to KCCI that its employees are being evacuated.
The building is located at 321 East 12th Street, just east of the State Capitol.
It's unclear at this point why the building is being evacuated.
