MRHC's Wound Care Clinic Recognized with the RestorixHealth Clinical Distinction Award
Manning Regional Healthcare Center (MRHC) has announced its Wound Care Clinic was recognized with the RestorixHealth Clinical Distinction Award. This honor acknowledges wound centers that meet or exceed national benchmarks, including a 90-percent healing rate and a median healing time of 32 days.
Dr. Thang Luong, a wound care physician, says, “The Wound Care Clinic is proud to be recognized for the quality of care our wound center provides our patients daily. This achievement reaffirms our commitment to optimizing patient outcomes, which can only be accomplished with the effort and dedication of our wound care staff and support from the hospital. We look forward to continuing our mission to restore health and improve the quality of life—and access to care—for the patients we serve.”
This is the sixth time MRHC’s Wound Care Clinic has earned the Clinical Distinction Award. The clinic also received a Center of Excellence award in 2019 and multiple awards for patient satisfaction.
