Denison Police reporting a total of 6 arrests within the last week

The Denison Police Department is reporting a half dozen arrests since last Tuesday.

The most recent public release states that police arrested Luis Andrade of Denison at approximately 4:21 a.m. on Sunday near Highway 30. They charged the 22-year-old male with a second offense of operating while under the influence and driving while barred.

Another weekend arrest occurred when Allen Price of Denison was taken into custody. They booked the 30-year-old male on several charges. Authorities charged him with fifth degree theft and fifth degree criminal mischief after recovering a damaged bicycle with an estimated value of $150. They also charged him with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after seizing a homemade pipe allegedly used to smoke marijuana.

Officers apprehended Kyhan Davis of Denison at approximately 8:16 p.m. on Saturday near South 7th Street. They charged the 24-year-old male with driving while his license is suspended.

Police arrested Esperansa Arellano-Barrios early Saturday morning at around 2:20 a.m. near South 12th Street. The 26-year-old female was charged with her second offense of operating while under the influence.

A separate Saturday morning arrest of Maria Lara Salazar of Denison happened at almost 1:40 a.m. near North 10th Street. Officers charged the 19-year-old female with domestic abuse assault.

Police apprehended Jovanny Morales of Denison near 2nd Avenue North at approximately 9 a.m. last Tuesday. They booked the 19-year-old male for driving while his license is suspended.

All charges are allegations and the persons named in a case are to be considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
