Crawford County Shooting Sports results from AVAD Meet
The Crawford County Shooting Sports team competed at the Carroll County Shooting Sports hosted Conference meet at the AVAD Hunt Club this past Saturday. With bitterly cold temperatures reaching below freezing at the start of the meet, grit was both earned and needed for the students to compete through the cold and the wind that they were left to contend with.
Overall there were 117 competitors at Saturday’s meet, with 46 of those competitors being from the Crawford County Shooting Sports team. A special congratulations goes out to Owen Fink of the Crawford County Shooting Sports team. Of the 234 rounds of trap that were shot, Mother Nature assured that only three perfect rounds scores were realized. Owen and only two other conference competitors recorded that perfect round score of 25/25.
