Iowa State safety Jeremiah Cooper prepares for his final season

As he prepares for his senior season, Iowa State safety Jeremiah Cooper is stepping into a leadership role. Cooper is the lone returning safety in a secondary that lost Malik Verdon and Beau Freyler. Cooper is looking to step up his game next season. He had four interceptions in 2024 and was named honorable mention All Big 12. A lot of new faces will be counted on next season at the back of the Cyclone defense. Cooper saw playing time as a freshman and says preparing for his final season is a much different feeling. The Cyclones close spring drills on April 26th.
