Drake Relays director Blake Boldon on the effects of changing college athletics

Drake Relays director Blake Boldon says the changing landscape of college athletics is affecting how many universities will compete in next week's event and in the years to come. Two schools will be returning for the first time in several years in Ohio State and Kansas State. Boldon says, as always, there will be a strong contingent of teams from the Midwest. Boldon says an Iowa connection helped them get Kansas State back to Des Moines. Boldon says Ohio State used to be a regular at the Drake Relays. The Drake Relays are April 24th through the 26th.
