Boys Tennis: Monarchs secure first win of the season
Denison-Schleswig picked up their first win of the season with a clean sweep over Storm Lake. Full results attched as the Monarchs improve to 1-2 on the season and will be taking on Harlan on Thursday.
Coaches Comments from Aaron Ratliff-
"Storm Lake lost all but one player from their team from last season. They are in the process of building a team from the ground up again, with most of their players playing for the first time this year. Owen Galvin’s first serve was strong today. He is starting to control its power. Adonay’s groundstrokes, particularly his backhand, looked more solid today. He has improved quite a bit since last year. Karson Schulz, a promising freshman, picked up his first varsity wins of his high school career. With his power, there will be many more in his future."
