Drake men visit Evansville Wednesday night

Leading scorer Bennnett Stirtz gets a lot of the headlines but coach Ben McCollum says effort and unselfish play has made this a championship season for Drake. Not only are the Bulldogs the top defensive team in the Missouri Valley Conference they also are the league's top rebounding team. Sophomore forward Cam Manyawu and junior forward Tavion Banks combined for 20 rebounds in Sunday's overtime win at UNI that clinched at least a share of the Valley title. McCollum says it is an example of the unselfish nature of the Bulldogs. Drake can clinch the outright Missouri Valley title Wednesday night with a victory at Evansville.
