Drake women beat Southern Illinois
The Drake women raced out to a 27-11 lead at the end of one and rolled to an 82-40 win over Southern Illinois in Des Moines. It was the Bulldog's seventh straight victory as they improved to 12-3 in the Missouri Valley Conference. That's Drake coach Allison Pohlman who felt it was a complete effort by her team. The Bulldogs shot 56 percent and had only 12 turnovers in the game. Katie Dinnebier led the Bulldogs with 18 points and Courtney Becker added 11.
