Girls Bowling: Denison-Schleswig state bound, three individuals qualify for state meet

The varsity girls placed 2nd at districts where they qualified for the state tournament. They bowled a total of 15 baker games changing lanes after
every 5 games. Their first 5 games were 137, 187, 150, 153, and 170. After the first 5 games, the team was in first place by 7 pins. The second set of
5 games were 137, 179, 161, 139, and 150. This was when LeMars jumped ahead of the lady monarchs. The last 5 baker games were 182, 200, 149,

215, and 157. This is the set where they shined. Overall the girls managed to bowl as well as they did by picking up their spares. The girls ended up
securing the 2nd place spot with a score of 2466. LeMars placed first with a 2591.

3 of the girls qualified for state in the individual competition. Grace Collins placed 3rd with a series of 565. She had games of 235, 170, and 160.
Haley Lutz tied for 4th with a series of 560. She had games of 192, 189, and 179. McKennon Olson placed 8th with a series of 529. Sh had games of
169, 202, and 158. Other high games from some of the girls were Ashton Randeris with a 173, Hailey Galvin with a 164, and Lexi Hartwig with a
158. Although the girls were bowling individually, they still acted like a team cheering each other on throughout the individual competition.
Everyone was in great spirits and it showed in their bowling. They also came into individuals with less nerves. They already got the team through to
state, so making it as an individual was the cherry on top.
