Philadelphia defense dominates as DeJean, Eagles move on to Super Bowl LIX
It's been an eventful rookie season for Cooper DeJean to say the least.
In a season where the OABCIG alum was announced as a finalist for Defensive Rookie of the Year, named to the NFL All-Rookie team, DeJean has another milestone to add. On Sunday, led by the stout Eagles defense, and forcing four turnovers dismantle divison rival Washongton Commanders 55-23 in the NFC Championship to advance to Super Bowl LIX, their second trip in the last two seasons.
DeJean would finish the night with 6 total tackles , two passes deflected, and assisted in a huge turnover in the first quarter that set the tempo for the game.
The Eagles will play in the Super Bowl on February 9th at Ceasrs Superdome in New Orleans, LA as they are set to take on Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs, the team that defeated Philadelphia in Super Bowl LVII. Kickoff slated for 5:30 PM on FOX.
