No. 10 Iowa State prepares for Saturday's game at K-State
Iowa State coach T.J. Otzelberger says consistency is key if the Cyclones hope to make a deep run in March. The 10th-ranked Cyclones are coming off a loss at home to 23rd-ranked BYU and they close the regular season Saturday at Kansas State. Otzelberger says consistent play begins in practice. Otzelberger is not concerned his team is wearing down. K-State handed the Cyclones their first home loss and Otzelberger says senior forward Coleman Hawkins is the key. After missing three games due to injury the Illinois transfer returned to the lineup in a Wednesday night win at Cincinnati. The Cyclones are 12-7 in the Big 12 and are locked into the fifth seed at next week's conference tournament.
