While concertgoers are allowed to bring food and beverages to the picnic-style performances, food is also available for purchase at each show. The popular "Burger Boat" will also continue being operated by the Lake View Fire Department to deliver food to fans attending by boat on Black Hawk Lake.

Saturday, June 1st at 6:00 p.m. – PetRock

PetRock will return to open the season on June 1st with a live tribute show that had fans begging for more last summer. Based out of Omaha, PetRock is the nation’s ultimate musical tribute to the smooth rock of the 70’s. Their period threads will make concertgoers believe that a band can travel through time and the feel-good vibes from their live performance will take fans back to the greatest decade of live rock music in history. Regularly selling out shows across the region, PetRock is the premier band of its kind. This must-see show will start at 6:00 p.m. following the community’s signature Sip & Sample event.

Saturday, July 6th at 5:00 p.m. – The Steel Wheels ft. special guest Lance Roark

The Steel Wheels will travel to Lake View from the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia, bringing their earnest Americana folk-rock music with an energy that is all their own. Through the years, The Steel Wheels have drawn on both traditional form and modern sounds to capture the beauty in all of life’s varied trials and triumphs. Whether at a joyous summer festival, at their many shows across the country and beyond, or in the studio, The Steel Wheels continue their mission set out over a decade ago; shaking up traditions to see what sticks, telling stories, and joining communities through song. Their latest album, Sideways, was released in February of this year.

Lance Roark, one of the most buzzed about artists on the Red Dirt music scene, will kick off the July 6 concert. Roark is a captivating, high energy singer-songwriter from the hills of Oklahoma. With his intriguing voice, hard driving back beats, down home lyrics and unapologetically raw guitar tone, Roark paints a picture of the joy, heartache, and beauty of everyday life. While staying true to his bluegrass and country roots, Roark’s music is that of a river — ever flowing and changing, rising and falling, with beauty or destruction waiting around every bend. This extended holiday weekend celebration of live music at the lake will begin at 5:00 p.m.

Saturday, August 3rd at 5:00 p.m. – Matt Koziol & Brooke Lee

On August 3rd, the Concert Series will welcome co-headliners and emerging country artists, Matt Koziol and Brooke Lee. New Jersey native Matt Koziol is reminiscent of a barrel-aged bourbon. From the first sip, Koziol’s voice cuts through with a palpable heat. His songs have been distilled and drip with tradition, authenticity, and a raw quality that could only come from a man that has seen more than 10 years on the road as a hired gun. Koziol has played shows with former Stone Pier performers, including 49 Winchester and Hailey Whitters, and has a growing resume of festival appearances. His recent singles feature Vince Gill and Drake White, with more releases planned for 2024.

Born and raised in North Carolina, Brooke Lee was born with music intertwined in her life. Her grandparents were pastors and introduced her first opportunity to perform through worship leading and singing in church. Brooke would later discover her strong passion for classic rock and country, influenced by the likes of Joan Jett, Stevie Nicks, Janis Joplin, and Dolly Parton. Her signature powerhouse smoky vocal and free spirit attitude resonates with audiences of all ages, evident from the reaction to her debut EP that was released last summer. Brooke will get the boot stomping started at 5:00 p.m.

Sunday, September 1st at 5:00 p.m. – The Band of Heathens w/ Cory Waller & The Wicked Things

The Band of Heathens, an Austin-based rock and roll band, will headline the season finale on Sunday, September 1. From day one, this group has remained proudly, fiercely independent – turning down label offers, maintaining complete ownership of their catalog, and building their audience one show at a time. Their inspirations range from The Beatles and the Rolling Stones to Bob Dylan and The Allman Brothers. With almost 20 years on the road, their recent successes include a gold record for their cover of Levon Helm’s song “Hurricane,” a national television debut on CBS Saturday Morning, along with a Grand Ole Opry debut in 2023. They also released their ninth studio album, Simple Things, in March of last year. Cory Waller and The Wicked Things will open the September show, starting at 5:00 p.m. These budding talents in the Midwest country scene put hard work and honesty at the center of their sound and songwriting. Taking inspiration from Jason Isbell, John Mellencamp and Blackberry Smoke, lead singer & songwriter Cory forges his own music path with candid portrayals built from years of life’s ups and downs. Backed by a band of his favorite heroes and friends, the group aims to deliver a new and fresh sound to accompany this moment in time.
