Harrison County Public Health announces new counting measures for COVID deaths
Harrison County Public Health issued a press release yesterday stating that due to changes in coding at the state level, they can now release a more accurate count for CODI19 caused deaths as well as report deaths where COVID19 was not the cause but a contributing factor. With those changes, public health reported an additional 13 deaths. Harrison County's positive case total as of yesterday is 1171 and total deaths is at 43. They will release more information this week to provide further clarification and insight into the changes.
