IGHSAU, IHSAA release brackets for soccer
This week, the IGHSAU & IHSAA released their full brackets for playoff soccer to start play next week.
Local teams on the girls side include Missouri Valley, Logan-Magnolia, Harlan, & Kuemper Catholic who all got paired in Class A Region 6. On May 15th, Missouri Valley (7-4) will travel to Neola to take on Tri-Center (10-4), LoMa (4-10) will hit the road to take on Treynor (13-2), while Harlan (8-7) will play host to Kuemper Catholic (8-6). All games slated for 7 PM kickoff.
Elsewhere in Class A, East Sac County (6-5) got paired into Region 4 where they will host on May 15th against Sioux Center (8-7) in Wall Lake.
In Class 2A, Carroll (1-14) and Denison-Schleswig (5-8) paired up in Region 4 where they will square off in a rivalry renewed matchup in Denison.

In boys soccer, multiple Class A area teams will compete in Region 1, including Kuemper Catholic (7-8) hosting Logan-Magnolia (3-12) on May 13th in Carroll. East Sac County (4-3) will play host to AHSTW (3-9) May 13th in Wall Lake. Both games slated for 7 PM.
In Class 2A Region 8, Harlan (5-10) will host Carroll (3-11) on May 20th with Glenwood (11-1) the number one seed in that region.
Denison-Schleswig (7-5) draws a home matchup as they host Strom Lake (5-6) May 20th at 7 PM in Class 3A Region 1 action.
